Clermont County OHC Plans and Goals for 2009
- To achieve membership growth
- To increase mileage ridden and turned in
- To increase V.I.P. work at East Fork Park and have the perimeter trail well cleared and marked
- To increase grassroots involvement by creating a volunteer-friendly OHC
- To expand relations with other horse groups
- To increase involvement at the government level on equine issues
Some of the benefits for being a member of the Clermont County OHC are:
- Participate in the club's monthly meetings, holiday parades, trail rides, overnight campouts, special events and other county chapter's trail rides and events.
- Help improve the Eask Fork State Park equestrian trail system by participating in trail clean up and work days throughout the year; support neighboring OHC chapters with their work days at surrounding state parks.
- Participate in clinics for Equine Education,Safety and Health Awarness
- Free Subscription to the Corral Magazine
- Receive the State OHC Newsletter
- Opportunity to meet other members from other OHC county chapters
- A voice at the state level in Legisation and decisions affecting horses and access to public lands
- A 1 million dollar Equine Excess Liability Insurance Coverage for $19 per member- This is a option that applies to the OHC Plus Membership.
